Lauren Darlene is an actress, rapper, songwriter, and all-around triple threat in the entertainment business, who possesses the "IT" factor. Lauren Darlene has packed a lot into her 6-year journey in the entertainment industry. Appearing in Network Television shows such as CBS's The Neighborhood, STARZ hit drama series Step Up: High Water, and various indie feature films and web series. Born in Palo Alto, CA, Lauren Darlene fell in love with music at a young age. Lauren grew up around music, her father produced music for MC Hammer and her mother could sing her heart out to any Gospel song. Music has always been in her family. "Sometimes I can hear melodies in my head and come up with a hook for a song in as little as 10 mins". Lauren longed to add acting to her portfolio. Acting pretty much came easy for her with being different than her childhood friends. Lauren was the kid who enrolled in performing art schools in the summer while her friends were out being kids. After being raised in Detroit, Michigan, Lauren knew she wanted more out of the arts and her mother made the decision to move their family to Atlanta, GA for brighter opportunities.
